Williamsburg, Va.The St. Johns womens golf team finished 19th at the William & Mary Invitational held at Fords Colony C.C. in Williamsburg, Va. The Red Storm carded a single round score of 339, as the final round of play was canceled due to inclement weather. Sophomore Jaclyn Sanders (Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada), was the top finisher for St. Johns, tying for 37th at 10-over par 81.
Sophomore Jennifer Rhee (Rydal, Pa.) finished tied for 69th at 13-over par 84, while freshman Christin Thomson (Ft. Francis, Ontario, Canada) and Tracey Bolger (Haddonfield, N.J.) finished tied for 83rd at 15-over par 86. Freshmen Maggie Steciuk (London, Ontario, Canada) and Katie Lebel (Mooretown, Ontario, Canada) finished tied for 96th and 101st, respectively.
The St. Johns womens golf team returns to action on April 7-8 when they travel to Port Washington, N.Y. to compete in the Hofstra Invitational.
