Women's cross country competes at Little Three

Jackling leads Bonnies with 16th place finish

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure women's cross country team placed third Saturday at the Little Three Championship at Beaver Island State Park hosted by Niagara.

Niagara won the team title.

Junior Carrie Jackling led the Bonnies with a time of 22:45, placing her 16th out of 27 runners. Junior Mary Harruff and junior Jesica Hendrick finished second and third for St. Bonaventure, posting times of 25:34 and 25:52, respectively.

The Bonnies return to action Oct. 30 for the Atlantic 10 Championships in Philadelphia, Pa.
