Women's Cross Country
Town places 6th at LeMoyne Invite

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure men's and women's cross country teams competed at the LeMoyne Invitational Saturday, Oct. 2. The men placed seventh out of 12 teams and the women placed sixth out of nine. In the women's race, LeMoyne placed first place overall. Senior Mary Town placed sixth overall and first for the Bonnies with an overall time of 21:23. Senior Courtney Burgess and senior Nancy Hanft finished at 23:03 and 23:26, respectively. In the men's race, Mohawk Community College and SUNY Cobleskill tied for first place. Sophomore Andrew Shulha finished first for St. Bonaventure with an overall time of 29:42. Junior Brian Thierman and senior Paul Nessle finished at 29:56 and 30:11, respectively.
The Bonnies will return to action Oct. 16 for the Little Three Championships at Canisius.
