Paul Nessle led the Bonnies to a second place finish
 
 
Nessle, Goins place second at Little Three

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure men's and women's cross country teams both placed second at the Little Three Championships today at McGraw-Jenning Field.

On the women's side, the Bonnies placed ahead of Niagara.

Freshman Ruth Goins led the Bonnies with a second place overall finish (20:08). Junior Mary Town and junior Courtney Burgess placed seventh and eighth, respectively. Town finished at 22:01 and Burgess at 22:06.

On the men's side, St. Bonaventure finished even with Niagara.

Junior Paul Nessle placed second overall and finished 28:26. Freshman Andrew Shulha and freshman Ryan Ross took fifth and ninth, respectively. Shulha finished at 29:56 and Ross at 30:43.

Canisius placed first on both sides.

The Bonnies will compete next at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Philadelphia on November 1.
