Sophomore defender Matt Culo is the Community Bank/GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week for the period that ended September 24. In his first match of the season, Culo scored the game-winning goal in the 103rd minute of double overtime to send the Bonnies past Canisius 2-1. Just three minutes earlier, the Edmonton, Alberta native made a decisive save from his own goal line after the goalkeeper's initial stop bounced to the feet of an opposing attacker. Culo's match-clinching goal was the first of his career and snapped a four-game winless streak for the Brown and White.
