All-American: 400 medley relay - 2006

As a Junior in 2007-08: Was a finalist in the 100 free at the Pac-10 Championships, finishing 16th...was Stanford's fourth-fastest swimmer in the 100 free with a season-best time of 49.73 (achieved at Pac-10s)...also anchored a Cardinal 200 free relay squad that posted the team's fourth-best time in that event all year (1:32.93)...earned second team Pac-10 All-Academic honors.

As a Sophomore in 2006-07: Advanced to the finals of the 400 free relay at the NCAA Championships, winning the consolation heat with a time of 3:16.44 (ninth place overall)...swam in four event finals at the Pac-10 Championships, highlighted by a third-place showing in the 400 free relay with an NCAA "A" standard time of 3:17.70...tied for 12th in the 100 free (50.20), while placing 14th in the 50 free (23.10) and 24th in the 200 free (1:51.41)...was an honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic selection.

As a Freshman in 2005-06: Earned All-America honors as part of Stanford's sixth-place 400 medley relay team at the NCAA Championships (3:37.56)...won the consolation heats in both the 200 free relay (1:30.49) and 400 free relay (3:18.84)...enjoyed a strong showing at the Pac-10 Championships...finished second in the 200 free relay (1:31.62), fourth in the 800 free relay (7:14.94, fourth in the 400 medley relay (3:39.37), fifth in the 400 free relay (3:22.52), 17th in the 100 free (50.68) and 19th in the 50 free (23.55).

National Competition Highlights: Competed in both the 2004 and 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials...finished 14th in the 50 free at the 2005 World Championships Trials...finished 12th in the 100 free and 16th in the 50 free at the 2008 U.S. Open...also swam the 100 fly at that meet...swam at the Summer Senior Nationals in both 2006 and 2007.

High School, Club and Personal Data: Daughter of Doug Rovira and Lucy Buckley...graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colo....was a 13-time high school All-American, the 2004 Colorado Swimming Inc. (CSI) Swimmer of the Year and Colorado's 2005 NISCA Swimmer of the Year...swam on five Colorado 5A state relay championship teams...helped Fairview to the Colorado 5A state title as a junior...owns four CSI age group records...competed for Rally Sport Aquatics Club under coaches Grant Holicky and Rob Putnam...majoring in human biology.
