Stanford made its 16th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament

Briefly: Returning All-American performer at first base ... Will supply power and run production in 2002 while hitting in the heart of the order ... Team leader and has consistently hit for average throughout her career on The Farm ... Selected to participate in the USA Women's National Team Camp over the summer.

As a junior in 2001: NFCA First Team All-American ... One of four Stanford players selected to the All-Tournament team at NCAA Regionals ... Named National Player of the Week and Pac-10 Player of the Week (2/28) ... All-Pac-10 First Team selection ... Played and started in all 71 games for the Cardinal and was second on the team with a .986 fielding percentage ... Finished the season second on the team with a .387 batting average (eighth in the conference) and 79 hits (second on team) ... Led the team with 23 doubles and 66 RBI, both of which were single-season records, and blasted 12 home runs (second on team) ... With her four doubles and six RBI in a twinbill at Sacramento State, broke the Stanford single-season RBI record and tied the season mark for doubles ...
