National Competition: Finished sixth in the 100 breast at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials, while also competing in the 200 breast...competed at the 2006 U.S. Summer Nationals...competed on the United States team at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2007...competed at the 2005 U.S. Summer Nationals where he finished eighth in the 100 breast...a member of the 2004 U.S. Junior National team...a 2004 Olympic trials participant in the 100 and 200 breast.

2007-08 Season (Junior): Finished eighth in the 200 breast at the NCAA Championships to help the Cardinal to a third-place finish...also a NCAA qualifier in the 100 breast...helped Stanford to a 27th consecutive Pac-10 championship by finishing fourth in both the 100 and 200 breast.

2006-07 Season (Sophomore): Helped Stanford capture its 26th straight Pac-10 title as he placed second in the 200 breast, fourth in the 100 breast and 18th in the 200 IM at the conference championships...captured All-America honors by finishing 10th in the 200 breast at the NCAA Championships.

2005-06 Season (Freshman): A top-five finisher in the 100 breast at the Pac-10 Championships...also competed in the 200 breast...his best time of 54.24 in the 100 breast and 1:58.87 in the 200 breast ranked among the top-15 times in school history.

High School: A 14-time All-American...a member of the Akron Firestone High School national championship team in 2002...a four-time Ohio state champion in the 100 breast...the Ohio state record-holder in the 100 breast.
