2002-03 Season (Junior): Tri-Captain ... Named Honorable Mention All Pac-10 ... A partial tear of his medial collateral ligament in his left knee sidelined the junior forward for five games ... Suffered the injury during second half action at California (1/4/03) ... Returned to action against USC (1/25/03) and responded with seven points, four rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes of play ... Returned to the starting lineup against Washington State (2/15/03) and responded with 21 points (7-for-10 from the floor), ten rebounds and two blocks ... Despite the fact that he missed the last two months of the season with a broken bone in his right wrist, he still gained first team all-state honors by Cal-Hi Sports, all-Metro first team honors by the San Francisco Examiner, and first team honors by the Alameda Newspaper Group ... Named to the 15-player Long Beach Press-Telegraph's 23rd annual "Best of the West" team which included former teammates Curtis Borchardt and Casey Jacobsen ... His team finished the year 22-7 during his senior season, losing by only two points in the Northern California Section to eventual champion DeLaSalle (30-1) ... A four-year starter ... During his junior season, helped lead his team to a 29-5 record and a berth in the championship game of the state tournament ...
