Runner-up in the 1500 meters at the NCAA Championships with a season best time of 3:37.56 ? Ran a career best 1:46.83 in the 800 meters at the Cardinal Qualifier, the third fastest all-time at Stanford ? Placed third in the 800 meters at the Pac-10 championships ? Also ran a NCAA qualifying time in the 5000 meters at 13:44.60, the fourth best time in school history ? Ran the anchor leg on Stanford?s winning distance medley relay team at the Drake Relays ? Ran the 1600 meters in 3:56.5, equivalent of a 3:57.6 mile ? He helped lead Stanford?s distance medley relay team to a time of 9:32.86, the fastest outdoor Collegiate Bests: time in the nation in 2000 ? The Pac-10 champion in the 1500 meters ? Won the NCAA indoor mile title (3:59.46), less than 22 hours after helping Stanford win the NCAA indoor title in the distance medley relay in world record time of 9:28.83 ? 1999 Track & Field Season: Redshirted ? However, he ran several impressive races unattached ? Finished seventh in an extremely strong field in the 1500 meters at the U.S. Track & Field Championships ? Won the Vancouver Harry Jerome Classic 1500 meters in 3:40.41 ? A member of the USATF middle distance development crew that competed in Europe ? Ran a then personal best 3:39.85 in Birmingham, England.

1998 Track & Field Season (Freshman): An outstanding freshman season ... Finished a close second in the 1500 meters to gain All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoors ... Ran the fastest time in the prelims, 3:40.54, then a freshman school record ... An NCAA qualifier in three events, the 800, the 1500 and 5000 meters, the only freshman in the nation to do so ... Ranked as the #1 freshman in the United States at 1500 meters, the mile and the 3000 meters ... Ranked as the #2 freshman in the United States at 5000 meters behind teammate Jonathon Riley ... At the Pac-10 meet, finished third in the 5000 meters ... Finished fourth in the 3000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships to gain All-America honors ... The first American Junior to run a sub-4:00 mile (3:59.32) in 12 years ... The former school record holder in the indoor 3000 meters ... 1999 Cross Country Season (Sophomore): Helped lead the Cardinal to victory at the NCAA West Regional meet ? Placed fourth at the NCAA West Regionals individually ? Also competed at the NCAA?s at Indiana ? Captured the BYU Invitational.

1998 Cross Country Season (Freshman): A solid effort during the season, competing in four races with two top-four performances ... Won the Stanford Invitational.

1997 Cross Country Season: Redshirted ... Captured the Junior National Cross Country championship in Portland and secured a spot on his third U.S. national team ... It was the fourth straight year that a Stanford athlete had won the race ... His victory helped Stanford win the team title.

High School: Won nine state titles and set the Wisconsin 1600 meter record of 4:04.97 ... Also took the high school 1500 meters two straight years at the Penn Relays ... At the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene in 1997, ran a 4:02.81 in the mile, a personal best by five seconds and the fastest prep mile in 23 years ... Jennings time was the seventh best in prep history and the fastest since 1974 ...
