Southern University Jaguars basketball fans can catch a matinee this weekend, as the SU Jags will host Alabama A&M at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the F.G. Clark Activity Center on the Southern campus. Both games will be televised by Cox Sports TV.

The Southern women's team sits atop the SWAC standings at an undefeated 6-0 in conference play, 9-6 overall. They will face the Lady Bulldogs of Alabama A&M (5-6, 3-2 SWAC) at 1:00 p.m.

The Southern men's squad also sits atop the SWAC standings at 5-1 in conference play, 6-10 overall. They will face the defending SWAC Regular Season & Tournament Champions in the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M (5-6, 3-2 SWAC) at 3:30 p.m.

Monday night will see a flip in games, as the Southern men will play first, at 6:00 p.m. "Live" on ESPNU. this is the third time the Jaguars have played on ESPNU, and the second time they have broadcasted from the "Mini-Dome". SU defeated Grambling State 72-57, on January 6th. The SWAC Leading Southern Jaguar Women's team will face the Lady Hornets following the conclusion of the men's game.
