SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Southern Miss' Ashley Reyer moved up 11 spots following her performances in the last three events of the heptathlon Saturday in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Alex G. Spanos Sports Complex.

Heading into the final day of competition, Reyer was in 25th-place. Reyer finished in a tie for eighth in the long jump (19'0), earning 786 points. She followed with a 16th-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 115'9", and topped off her day with a fifth-place overall finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:15.53 to score 881 points.
