HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- - Houston's senior Ebonie Floyd and Southern Miss' senior Ashley Reyer have been named this week's Conference USA Female Track and Field Co-Athletes of the Week, while UTEP's sophomore Dominic Kiprono Tanui captured the men's weekly honor.

After falling to sixth place after two events, Reyer regrouped for an impressive come-from-behind victory in the heptathlon at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. The senior finished opening day with an event-best 2,996 points and went on to conclude the two-day heptathlon event with 5,217 points. She won the long jump (5.63m) and 800m (2:15.67), followed by placing second in the 200m (25.12), third in the shot put (10.68m) and fourth in the javelin (36.46m).

Floyd picked up gold medals in the 200m (22.79) and 400m (51.36) at the California Collegiate Challenge in Berkeley, Calif., while Reyer took gold in the heptathlon (5,217 points) at the Drake Relays.

Tanui ran the nation's third fastest time in the 800-meters (1:47.79) and ran the third leg on the third place 1,600-meter relay (3:07.32) team at the prestigious Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
