BATON ROUGE, Tanika Liburd finished first in the long jump with a season-best jump of 21’8.75”. She finished sixth in the 100 meters with a time of 11.65. Becca Rop was first in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:34.83 with Karen Tankersley finishing fourth with a time of 12:40.03. Cassandra Goodson finished first in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 17:32.91. Keri White was fifth with a time of 18:34.55. Raquel Washington ran a 13.48 in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing fourth. Krista Miller recorded another regional qualifying mark in the high jump with a jump of 5-8.75, finishing first. Kate Juedes finished seventh with a height of 5-5.75. Dijana Kojic finished sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.44. Naomi Kiprotich was sixth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:33.59. Aaliyah Shareef finished eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 39-5.75. Hana Prudilova finished fifth in the javelin with a throw of 147-0 for a regional qualifying mark. The 4x100-meter relay team posted a regional qualifying time of 45.77, finishing fifth. The 4x400-meter relay team was sixth with a time of 3:51.43. Marvin Lucas finished third with a season-best jump of 25-0.25. Noah Bryant was fifth in the discus with a throw of 161-11, and Conrad Chanove finished fourth in the javelin with a throw of 215-8 for a regional qualifying mark. The men’s 4x100-meter relay team finished eighth with a time of 42.21. The track and field teams return to action on April 30, at the UL-Monroe Invitational.
