Files associated with this release: Southern Miss Track and Field Teams Improve Marks at the Texas Relays
– Several Golden Eagle performers turned in improved marks at the 78th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays over the weekend. Junior Raquel Washington posted a season best and school record time in the 100 meters hurdles, finishing fourth overall with a time of 13.21. Krista Miller finished first in the high jump with a mark of 5’10”. Hana Prudilova recorded a regional qualifying mark in the javelin with a throw of 142’. Tanika Liburd was fourth in the long jump with a mark of 19’1.50”. The 4x100-meter relay team ran a season-best time of 45.39 for a regional qualifying time. The sprint medley relay team finished fourth with a time of 3:59.27, while the 4x200-meter relay team finished fifth with a time of 1:37.70. Conrad Chanove finished eighth in the javelin with a throw of 214’1”. Marvin Lucas recorded a regional qualifying mark in the long jump with a jump of 24’1”.
