Lady Cardinals Shutout Southern Miss In Soccer

The Southern Miss soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the Louisville Cardinals here Sunday, in front of a record crowd of 245.
Louisville scored its goal during the 58th minute when Ashley Garcia's kick from about 15 yards out got past Anna Snyder.
Southern Miss (5-3-2, 0-3-1) out-shot the Cardinals (4-3-2, 1-2-1) 14-13, but shots on goal were even at five.
After the Lady Eagles started the season 5-0-1, Southern Miss is now winless in its last four maches (0-3-1).
The Lady Eagles return to action Friday, Oct. 3rd, at home against Jackson State. Match time is set for 3 p.m.
