Lady Eagles Earn No. 7 Seed For C-USA Tourney

Semifinals are set for 1 and 3:30 p.m., Mar. 8, and the championship game will be played at 1 p.m., the following day, and televised on ESPN 2. In the regular season, Southern Miss lost at home to Houston, 53-52, Feb. 23. The Lady Eagles take a 13-14 record, 6-8 in C-USA, into the tournament. Houston beat UAB, 84-47, in its final regular season game Sunday and finished with a 15-12 overall record, 6-8 in the league.
