Lassiter Receives Conference USA Player of the Week Honor
Sophomore guard/forward Tierra Lassiter of Hampton, Va., received Conference USA Co-Player of the Week honors with University of Houston's Chandi Jones for the period ending Jan. 20.

Lassiter led the Golden Eagles to two conference wins last weekend over South Florida, 78-56 and UAB, 75-57. She shot 50 percent from the field, including 5-of-10 from the three-point arc and 9-of-10 from the line. She scored a career-high 19 points against South Florida and followed with 17 points against UAB. For the week, she came off the bench to average 18 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals.
