Bob Carpenter and Larry Conley will call the action for the televised game. The Golden Eagles and Head Coach Larry Eustachy enter the game after a 60-46 loss at Memphis on Sunday and hold a record of 9-5 overall and 0-2 in league play. Jasper Johnson continues to lead Southern Miss in scoring with 16.5 points per game, while also leading in overall rebounds with 7.7 per game. Jarekus Singleton and Rashaad Carruth both are averaging double digits on offense with 11.3 and 10.4 points, respectively. Michael Ford leads the team with 3.14 assists per game. The Cardinals, coached by Rick Pitino, have an overall record of 12-3 and are 1-1 in C-USA play following an 86-61 home win over TCU on Saturday. Francisco Garcia paces five Cardinals in double figures with 17.1 points per game, while Taquan Dean is averaging 14.1 points a night. Larry O'Bannon, Juan Palacios and Ellis Myles hold averages of 13.7, 11.1 and 10.3 points, respectively. Myles leads the team with 9.9 rebounds a game, and Garcia also leads in assists (61), blocks (29) and steals (34). Louisville holds a 27-13 advantage in the all-time series and have won the last two games. The contest will be broadcast over the Southern Miss/ISP Sports Network.
