Senior Forward Exploded for 28 Points in Saints 67-57 Victory at Loyola

Loudonville, N.Y. - Senior forward Laura Menty was named MAAC women's basketball Co-Player of the Week announced this afternoon by league officials. Menty exploded for 28 points on Friday evening in the Saints 67-57 victory over Loyola in Baltimore.

Menty, the league's leading scorer, missed just five shots all night going 12-16 (75.0%) from the field and 4-5 (80.0%) from the free-throw line. She also collected three rebounds in Siena's first win at Reitz Arena since 2004.

Menty is averaging 20.1 points per game over 16 contests this season. She leads the league with a 57.7% field goal percentage and stands fifth overall shooting 85.8% from the charity stripe.
