Redhawks Host Saint Louis and Austin Peay in Consecutive Days

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast tennis welcomes Saint Louis and Austin Peay to the Redhawks Tennis Complex Wednesday and Thursday. Southeast (10-9, 4-3 OVC) is coming off a 4-3 conference win at Tennessee Tech Sunday. Wednesday's match against SLU will be non-conference action starting at 3 p.m. Thursday they return to OVC play against Austin Peay with first serve scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Redhawks feature junior Bryce Kristal (Pleasanton, Calif./Foothill) as the No. 1 singles player. She is 13-5 overall and 5-2 in OVC play. Her twin sister, Drew Kristal (Pleasanton, Calif./Foothill) brings her 11-7 mark to the No. 2 court. Luz Garcia (Bogota, Colombia/Troy) plays No. 3. Julia Masotti (Moji-Mirim, São Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Integral Aplicado) will compete in No. 5 singles. Freshman Elise Nattier (Flora, Ill./Flora) and senior Kimmy Anderson (Jackson, Mo./Jackson) round out the singes lineup in No. 5 and No. 6 action.

In doubles action, the Kristal sisters will play on the No. 1 court. They are 13-6 thus far in 2007. Masotti and Nattier make up the No. 2 duo while seniors Garcia and Anderson form the No. 3 tandem.

Saint Louis is 10-11 overall and finishes up their 11-match road trip on Wednesday. Southeast has not beaten SLU at home since 1992. The Billikens are led by senior Ana Renda from Argetina.
