Redhawks Visit Murray State for Conference Match

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State tennis plays against Murray State Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Murray, Ky. The Redhawks look to bounce back after falling 6-1 on Tuesday versus Tennessee-Martin. They currently stand at 3-2 in the OVC and 9-7 overall.

Southeast is expected to use their primary lineup thus far in the 2007 season. Junior Bryce Kristal (Pleasanton, Calif./Foothill) leads the way in singles action. She is followed by her twin sister, Drew Kristal (Pleasanton, Calif./Foothill), senior Luz Garcia (Bogota, Colombia/Troy), sophomore Julia Masotti (Moji-Mirim, São Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Integral Aplicado), freshman Elise Nattier (Flora, Ill./Flora) and senior Kimmy Anderson (Jackson, Mo./Jackson).

On the doubles court, the Kristals bring in their OVC-best 12-4 record to No. 1 competition. Masotti and Nattier will compete in the No. 2 contest with seniors Garcia and Anderson rounding out the lineup in the No. 3 match.

Murray State is 7-5 overall and 2-1 in the OVC. They are led by twin sisters Anna and Rachael Lask in their No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Southeast will travel to Nashville, Tenn. to play IPFW on Saturday and Cookeville, Tenn. to face Tennessee Tech Sunday.
