CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State women's basketball has learned where it will play for this weekend's first round action of the NCAA Division I Tournament. The Redhawks are seeded 14th in the Dayton Regional and will face third-seeded Oklahoma, the defending Big 12 champions this Saturday in Austin, Texas, with a start time of 11 a.m. The game will be shown in a live broadcast on ESPN2.

If the Redhawks win, they will meet the winner of the sixth-seeded Marquette and 11th-seeded Louisiana-Lafayette game in the second round on Monday, March 19.

This is the second consecutive appearance for Southeast (24-7) in the NCAA Tournament after posting a 62-60 win over Murray State on March 3 to claim its second OVC Tournament title in a row. The Redhawks won a season-best nine games in a row heading into this weekend.

Oklahoma (26-4) claimed its second straight Big 12 tournament championship last Saturday with a 67-60 victory over Iowa State in Oklahoma City. The Sooners have made the NCAA field for the eighth straight season and played in the championship game during the 2001-02 season.

Tickets will be available for purchase tomorrow afternoon at the Southeast ticket office by calling (573) SEMO-TIX. Tickets are $53 for adults and $43 for youth.
