Vincent White Chosen For NCAA Expert Coaching Academy
May 4, 2007 Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Vincent White, assistant head football coach and offensive coordinator at Southeast Missouri State University, has been selected to attend the 2007 NCAA Expert Football Coaching Academy. The Academy, targeted for minority coaches, is a preparatory class for becoming a head coach with participants selected by a committee from the NCAA. It will be held May 30 to June 2 at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Fla. White will be in his second season at Southeast after previously serving as an assistant coach at Delaware State, Mansfield, Utah, Arizona State, Southern Methodist, Maryland, Pacific, Tennnessee-Martin, Oregon Tech and Stanford. He also served as head coach at St. Mary's College in California from 2002-2004. A graduate of Stanford where he led all Division I-A player with 69 receptions in 1982. He was all-Pac 10 and honorable mention All-America. |
