Aztec Rowing Set to Compete in San Diego City Championships

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's crew team will compete in the San Diego City Championships regatta on April 19 at Techolote Channel in East Mission Bay. Along with the Aztecs, the event will feature the men's and women's teams from UC San Diego and the University of San Diego, as well as the San Diego State men's club crew team. The regatta begins at 7 a.m. Sunday.

The Aztecs will look to win the Patty Wyatt Cup, the award given to the winner of the varsity eight race, for the ninth consecutive year. SDSU takes on the Tritons and Toreros in the varsity eight race at 8:30 a.m.

To get to the race site, take I-5 North to the Sea World Drive Exit. Turn left onto Sea World Drive, then right onto East Mission Bay Drive.
