SAN DIEGO - Twenty four girls' basketball teams from around San Diego County converged on The Mesa this past weekend for head coach Beth Burns' 2006 San Diego State Aztec Basketball Team Camp, June 16-18.

The teams, composed of girls from ninth through 12th grades, participated in seven games over the three-day period, concluding with a tournament on Sunday. Mt. Miguel claimed the 16-team varsity division with a victory over San Diego High, while the San Diego Sol Black won the junior varsity bracket.

Campers also took part in a special situation challenge on Saturday night and broke down into position groups for individual work with the Aztec coaching staff.
