Box Score

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Ladyjack volleyball team finished off its final regular season road trip with a 3-0 (30-20, 30-28, 30-22) win at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday afternoon.

With the win, SFA (23-7, 13-1) lowers its magic number to one for clinching the Southland Conference West Division, and still keeps the Ladyjacks in the hunt for at least a share of their fourth consecutive SLC title. TAMUCC (7-20, 4-13), who was coming off a five-game win over Sam Houston, currently sits at the bottom of the SLC West standings.

Senior Traci Rohde continued to dominate SLC opponents, finishing with a team-high 13 kills for the afternoon. Lauren Railey picked up her 12th double-double of the year with 11 kills and 12 digs and a career-high with seven blocks. Railey was not the only one with a career high as Ashley Bailey was impressive once again at the net, posting nine blocks - two of those were solo.

JJ Jones continued her all-around solid play, hitting double-digits with 10 kills and 21 assists. She now has 4,999 assists in her career and needs 61 more to tie Marissa Dorcheus for second on the all-time SFA list. Freshman Whitney Schott led the team in assists for the third time in four matches with 23 of the team's 48 for the day.

SFA continues SLC play on Wednesday when it hosts UT-Arlington with an opportunity to clinch the SLC West Division. The Ladyjacks will close out the regular season at home on Saturday against Texas State.
