NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team will face the nation's 12th-toughest non-conference schedule in 2003-04 according to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association RPI report. The Ladyjacks upcoming schedule will consists of eight schools that advanced to either the Women's National Invitational Tournament or the NCAA Championships last season, highlighted by games against Duke and Louisiana Tech who are ranked among the nation's preseason top 10.

The Ladyjacks tip-off the 2003-04 season Thursday Nov. 6th in an exhibition against the National Women's Basketball League. SFA will host the Perik Jumpers in an exhibition on Friday Nov. 14th, before opening the 2003-04 regular season a week later against Louisiana Tech.
