(Junction City, OR) - USF women's golf leads the 2007 Duck Invitational after shooting a 615 (299, 316) Monday at the Shadow Hills Country Club. The Dons shot the low round of the day with a 299 to open the tournament and hold a three shot lead against Washington State at 618 (306, 312) with 18 holes left to play on Tuesday.

Junior Jessica Potter, the defending medalist in the event leads the field once again at 148 (71, 77), one stroke in front of senior Kristin Nichols at 149 (73, 76). Potter's ibe-under 71 in the first round was one of just three rounds of par or better during the first 36 holes.

Idaho at 626 (315, 311), tournament host Oregon at 632 (313, 319) and Boise State at 633 (312, 321) round out the top-five in the tournament field.
