The Lions enter the conference opener with a 6-7 record after an impressive 59-58 victory against perennial power UC Santa Barbara Sunday at Gersten Pavilion. After taking on LMU, USF will host Pepperdine Saturday afternoon. The Waves own a 4-9 non-conference record and have played no fewer than four top-25 teams this season.
