The USF Dons fell 6-1 in men's tennis action Thursday at Santa Clara. Matthew Berry earned USF's sole point at number one singles, where he improved to 22-6 on the year.
It was a tough match for the Dons, who started by losing the doubles point.
USF then lost five of the six singles matches, with Mitch Del Rosario falling in a third set tie-breaker and Thong Tu falling 7-5 in a three set match. Asaf Cohen also lost a three set decision.
USF hosts Saint Mary's Momnday at 2:00 p.m. in their next match. The Dons are now 9-11 on the season.
