The Lions (7-5-0, 0-1 WCC) got on the board first when Jaret Asuncion headed in a pass from Arturo Torres just before halftime at the 41:20 mark. The Dons continued their pressure, hitting the crossbar once, and having a ball cleared off the line, before Hansen at 78:40. Garlick curled a long pass from the near touchline to Hansen who beat Lions' goalkeeper Jerad Bailey to the upper right corner. It was Hansen's second gamewinner of the year.
