SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Armando Surratt had 16 points and seven assists in leading San Francisco to a 62-50 victory over Portland on Saturday night. Alan Wiggins added 15 points and nine rebound. The Wiggins family combined for 48 points on the day as his younger sister went for 33 for the Stanford women's team. Jerome Gumbs added 11 as the Dons (7-10, 3-2 West Coast Conference) won for the third time in four games and extended their winning streak over Portland (8-11, 2-3) to five games. San Francisco coach Jessie Evans has never lost to the Pilots, while Portland coach Michael Holton fell to 1-9 against the Dons. Pooh Jeter scored 22 points to lead the Pilots. Darren Cooper left the game early in the second half with complications due to turf toe. The senior guard is Portland's second-leading scorer. He managed six points in 19 minutes against the Dons. The Dons scored 13 of the game's first 15 points and maintained a double-digit advantage for all but a few minutes of the contest. The Pilots climbed within three of San Francisco late in the first half before the Dons went on a 20-9 run. Jeter scored on an inside jumper with 3:09 left to bring Portland within 58-50 but San Francisco swiftly increased its lead. San Francisco led at halftime, 39-28.
