AT USF (2003): Pitched a complete-game gem as USF won at Fresno State for the first time since 1985, allowing just one run off seven hits with five strikeouts... recorded five or more strikeouts eight times in 13 starts... tallied season-high nine strikeouts against Portland (5/4)... recorded eight K's in a road win at Loyola Marymount (5/10)... earned West Coast Conference wins against the Lions (3/21), at Gonzaga (4/13), allowing two runs on nine hits with six K's and at Saint Mary's (4/27), allowing three runs off five hits... established career-highs in wins (5), innings (87.2) and strikeouts (64). AT USF (2002): Despite battling injuries all season, made 14 appearances.

AT USF (2001) - Made an instant impact for USF and emerged as the number two starter for the Dons... named USF's Newcomer of the Year... registered a 4-4 record with a 3.82 ERA in 70.2 innings of work... ranked second on the team in ERA, strikeouts (53), innings pitched and tied for second in victories... earned first collegiate victory in relief against BYU (2/6), throwing 4.0 scoreless innings, recording three strikeouts... collected second victory at 2000 College World Series participant San Jose State (2/21)... allowed two runs on four hits against the Spartans... struck out a season-high 10 in complete game victory against Portland (4/7), allowing just one run while scattering eight hits... earned second West Coast Conference victory against Saint Mary's (4/13), allowing three runs off five hits to go along with five strikeouts... struck out nine in 7.2 innings in a no-decision against Loyola Marymount (5/6)... named to the WCC All-Academic team.

PREP CAREER - Earned four varsity letters in baseball at Silver Creek High School... appeared on "Sports Focus" as Academic Athlete while playing for the Raiders... also was an AP Scholar at Silver Creek... received the league MVP his sophmore and senior year... earned All-CCS honorable mention following his sophmore and junior year... named All-CCS second team after his senior year...was an Academic Athlete for Santa Clara County.
