GENERAL CAPSULE: Talented starting outfielder... great defensively... capable of hitting for power... can steal bases. NCAA REGIONAL (2006): Hit .300 with two RBI in three games at the Lincoln Regional... collected two hits against Manhattan (6/4) drove in a run against Nebraska (6/3) and against the Jaspers. AT USF (2006): Started 50 games and appeared in 59 as a junior... went 3-for-11 with two doubles and an RBI during the West Coast Conference Championship Series... led the team with eight home runs... first homer came on a 2-for-4, two RBI day against Sacramento State (2/11)... homered in consecutive games against San Jose State (2/14) and at Southern Utah (2/17)... also hit home runs in back-to-back games against Loyola Marymount (5/12-13)... was 1-for-3 with a solo home run at Oral Roberts (3/26)... went 1-for-4 with a homerun and two RBI at Santa Clara (4/1)... finished 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI at No. 22 Pepperdine (4/7)... had a two-RBI triple against Portland (4/15)... went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored against No. 24 San Diego (4/30)... had a career-high four hits with an RBI and a stolen base at Cal (5/9)... went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored against Hawai'i (5/16)... rated third on the team in slugging (.454), fourth in hits (48), and fifth in RBI (29) and doubles (10). AT USF (2005): Started 28 games and appeared in 49 as a sophomore... was third on the team in slugging percentage with .490 and was fifth with four homeruns... hit .305 with runners on and advanced them at a .381 clip... hit a pinch-hit grand slam in his only at bat vs. Fresno State (3/12)... went 2-for-2 with a run and a double against Iona (3/14)... was 2-for-4 with a run, a double, and a triple vs. Santa Clara (3/25)... went 2-for-4 with a run and a double vs. Pepperdine (4/1)... ended the season with a six game hit streak (4/9-19) with seven hits, two home runs, and four RBI in that span... of 29 hits, 13 went for extra bases - eight doubles, triple, four homers. AT USF (2004): Gained valuable experience during his first season on the Hilltop by starting 18 games... in his first start of the season went 1-for-4 with three-run homerun against Northwestern (2/14)... enjoyed a 2-for-4 day against Sacramento State with a homerun and two RBI... launched his third homerun of the season and went 2-for-5 with three RBI versus Gonzaga (4/10)... hit his final homer of the season in his lone at-bat against Portland (5/14). PREP CAREER: Played four seasons at Reed High School, earning 2003 Athlete of the Year honors as a senior... named all-division and all-league in 2002 and 2003... also played three seasons of basketball, all as a starter... school record holder in home runs and walks.
