BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford volleyball team (3-8; 1-1 OVC) will play host to the Murray State Racers (3-5; 0-2 OVC) on Friday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m., and battle the UT-Martin Skyhawks (2-8; 0-2 OVC) on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Both matches will take place on the campus of Samford University at Seibert Hall in Birmingham, Ala.

A LITTLE HISTORY... In 2003, the Bulldogs and the Racers had their only meeting, as Murray State defeated Samford, 3-0 (30-20, 30-27, 30-17) in Murray, Ky.

The Skyhawks currently hold a 5-1 record against the Bulldogs. Samford's only win against UT-Martin was in their first meeting (1992) at Seibert Hall. In a five game match, the Bulldogs defeated the Skyhawks, 3-2 (15-10, 2-15, 1-15, 15-3, 15-7).
