BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford men's golf team take to the links of the Bent Brook Golf Course Monday as they participate in the Buffalo Rock Southern Showdown hosted by cross-town rival Birmingham-Southern.

The Bulldogs come off their best tournament play of the fall campaign as they took their first top five finish of the fall in the F&M Bank Intercollegiate last week hosted by Austin Peay. The Bulldogs finished in fifth place shooting a combined 880. Bradley Pate finished third for the Bulldogs, but was in first place after two rounds in the first day of the tournament.
