BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford University men's golf team wraps up regular season play today in the Wofford Invitational presented by VAULT. The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Wofford College, will be held at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C., and will feature 14 teams.

The Bulldogs come off weeks rest after bringing in a seventeenth place finish at the Furman Intercollegiate. Reed Davis was the top player for Samford throughout the tournament, finishing in a tie for fifth in the individual standings, and shooting a team tournament low of 68.

The Wofford Invitational is the last tournament for the Samford men in the regular season. Following the conclusion of the two-day event on Tuesday, the Bulldogs will have about three weeks off before heading to Paducah, Ky., to participate in the Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Tournament April 21 - 23.
