Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at Louisiana Tech

Oct. 23, 2002

CHOUDRANT, La. -- Samford's men's golf team finished ninth at the Squire Creek Intercollegiate Fall Invitational hosted by Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs shot 309-308-312=929.

Junior Andy McRae finished tied for 10th, shooting a 76-74-76=226. Freshman Louis South III tied for 32nd, firing rounds of 75-82-77=234. Sophomore Bradley Farmer shot 82-77-79=238, and finished tied for 46th. Freshman Ryan Mayberry tied for 50th, shooting 81-75-83=239. Senior Seth Mobley shot 77-88-80=245, good for a tie for 68th.

The Bulldogs final tournament of the fall season is Oct. 28-29 at the Austin Peay Invitational.
