Men's Golf Finishes 11th at Chattanooga

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. - Samford men's golf team shot a final-round 303 and finished in 11th place at the UT-Chatanooga Invitational. The Bulldogs were paced by Andy McRae's 27th-place finish.

Samford shot 296-302-303=901 (+49) for the three-round, two-day event. Jacksonville St. won the event, shooting -14 (838).

McRae shot 73-70-78=221. Seth Mobley finished 39th, shooting 77-75-73=225. Ryan Mayberry shot 71-80-77=228 (T44). In a tie for 50th was Louis South III (77-77-75=229). Bradley Farmer was 62nd, shooting 75-81-78=234.

Samford's next tournament is Oct. 21-22 in the Louisiana Tech Invitational.
