BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Coaches and players from the Samford University football team volunteered with Mission Birmingham Thursday afternoon working in the West End area in Birmingham.

The Bulldogs assisted the Mission Birmingham staff with the building and renovation efforts at several homes in the area.

Mission Birmingham is a Christian organization formed in 1998 that encourages prayer-driven relationships between Christians in the Birmingham metropolitan area. They are specifically focused on revival in the Church and spiritual awakening in the community.
