BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Junior Jessica Brewer earned OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week honors, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon, after a remarkable performance in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Mississippi State on April 2. Brewer took the event crown with a Samford all-time record time of 11:01.00 and currently holds first place on the OVC-best list in this event for the season.
