FAIRFIELD, CT - Sophomore Annie Archer (Littleton, CO) had a match-high 12 kills and four blocks to lead the Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team won its third straight match, beating visiting St. Francis College, 3-0, in a Northeast Conference tilt Sunday afternoon. The win established a new season high for victories in Division I for the Pioneers with eight.

Sacred Heart, 8-13 overall and 3-1 in the NEC, won the match with games scores of 30-19, 30-16 and 30-16. St. Francis, 1-25 and 0-3, led game three 7-3, but the Pioneers outscored the Terriers 27-9 the rest of the way to close out the match.

Freshman Mydori Saipale (Oxnard, CA) finished the match with nine kills and four digs. Sophomore Alex Bavasi (Flagstaff, AZ) had another strong match with seven kills, four digs and a pair of blocks. Junior Lynne Principio (Ardsley, NY) led the Pioneer defense with seven digs.

St. Francis was led by senior Jadeyln Castillo with six kills and 11 digs. Freshman Liliana Rodriguez was everywhere defensively for the Terriers, finishing with a match-best 19 digs.
