The Sacred Heart University men's and women's tennis program helped introduce the game of tennis to over 60 Girls Scouts from the Housatonic Council on Saturday, April 3rd as part of Marcy's Tennis Academy's "Girls Scouts Tennis Everyone Day" at the Jewish Community Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The 2-hour tennis instructional clinic involved members of the Pioneer tennis program along with tennis teaching professionals from Marcy's Tennis Academy, which has over 2000 kids involved in the program throughout Southern Connecticut and Fairfield County.

"This was a great way for our program to interact and teach kids who are just beginning to enjoy the game of tennis," stated head coach Mike Guastelle. "We hope the kids had as much fun learning the basics of the game as we did teaching them."
