Fairfield, CT - Pioneer freshman swimmer Jennifer Crowley (Newington, CT) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Sacred Heart University Student Athlete of the Week for the week of January 16th-22nd.

Crowley was one of three swimmers to win multiple events for the Pioneers this weekend as they picked up a split in Providence, losing to the host Friars and beating UMass-Dartmouth. Crowley took top honors in the 50 meter Freestyle event with Dartmouth, posting a time of 30.15. She also bested all swimmers in the 100 meter free with a 1:05.00 mark. In the 200 meter freestyle Crowley topped the team from UMass-Dartmouth again, turning in a time of 2:20.45.

Crowley and the Pioneers are back in the pool Sunday afternoon when they visit St. Peter's.
