Loudonville, NY - The Pioneers swimming and diving team dropped a pair of dual meets Saturday afternoon, losing to Fairfield 100-42 and dropping a 74-54 decision to host Siena. Sacred Heart falls to 2-6 on the season.

Junior captain Krystina Eikeseth (Staten Island, NY) was the top Pioneer swimmer all afternoon, posting two first place finishes along with a second place and third place mark. Eikeseth won her speciality event, the 200 yard butterfly in both meets, posting times of 2:21.47 and 2:21.43 against Fairfield and Siena, respectively. She also finished second in the 1000 yard freestyle event in both meets.

The Pioneers are now off until after final exams and the holidays. They return to the pool on Saturday January 14th when they travel to Burlington, VT to face the University of Vermont.
