Fairfield, CT - The Sacred Heart swimming and diving team dropped 128.5-91.5 decision to C.W. Post in their home opener on Saturday. The Pioneers finished first in only one event, tying Post in the 200 meter freestyle relay.

Sacred Heart placed swimmers in the top two in each event. Freshman Erin Bulvanoski (Oceanport, NJ) was runner up in the 200 meter medley relay, while Krystina Eikeseth (Staten Island, NY) took second in the 800 meter freestyle. Sophomore Adriana Morgan (Poughkeepsie, NY) finished second in the 200 and 400 meter freestyle events and junior captain Eileen Connor (Enfield, CT) did the same in the 100 meter butterfly and 50 meter freestyle.

Sophomore Bridget McGowan (Norfolk, MA) was second in the 200 meter individual medley, while freshman Jennifer Crowley (Newington, CT) swam second in the 100 meter freestyle, while Laura Johnson (Red Hook, NY) was second in the 100 meter backstroke and 100 meter breaststroke.

The Pioneers (0-2) will host Mannhattan College and the University of Bridgeport on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
