Final Stats

FAIRFIELD, CT - Freshman Leigh Dogmanits (Walnutport, PA) scored the only goal of the game off a feed from senior Allison Rojas (Manorville, NY) in the 11th minute to lead the Sacred Heart University women's soccer team to a 1-0 Northeast Conference win over visiting Quinnipiac Friday afternoon.

The victory keeps NEC playoff hopes alive for SHU (3-11-4, 3-2-3) and eliminates the Bobcats (9-6-2, 2-4-2) from the post-season picture.

Freshman Meghan Reichelt (Selden, NY) made six saves for the Pioneers, including one on a point blank shot by QU's Meagan McLoughlin in the 61st minute that kept the SHU lead intact.

Senior Chloe Beizer made fives saves in goal for the Bobcats.
