Fairfield, CT - The Sacred Heart University field hockey team will be participating with Hofstra University, Fairfield University and Quinnipiac University in the first annual Dita Cup Challenge. The first round of competition will take place on April 1 at Hofstra. Round two action is on April 8 at Quinnipiac, with the championships taking place on April 22 at Fairfield.

Teams will play each other in 7 vs. 7 games and 11 vs. 11 games in the first two rounds. The championship round games are full field, 70 minute contests.

In addition to the tournament, head coach Chris Blais has announced that the Pioneers will host their annual alumni game on Saturday April 29th. The game is set for a 6:00 pm start at Campus Field.
