2005 NCAA Regional Women's Results

BOSTON, MA (November 12, 2005) - The Sacred Heart men and women's cross country teams took part in the 2005 NCAA Northeast Regional at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts Saturday afternoon. The Pioneer women finished 21st among 38 teams while the men were 31st in a 37 team field.

On the women's side, freshman Kathleen Henry was the Pioneers top runner, coming in 63rd with a time of 22:28.6. Following Henry was junior Anne Duffy who ran a 23:17.4 to finish 117th.

Rounding out the SHU field was senior Jenna Pisani in 131st (23:60.6), junior Katie Duffy in 145th (23:39.6), senior Erin Kulasewski in 149th (23:43.3), grad student Kaitlin Clark in 173rd (24:08.6) and freshman Brooke Palmer in 204th (24:51.0).

The men were led by senior Tyler Arnett who finished in 93rd with a time of 32:38.9. Behind Arnett was freshman Luis German in 165th (34:07.6), freshman David Jones in 188th (34:42.9), junior Robert McDermott in 205th (35:16.1), sophomore Stephen Zito in 207th (35:23.2), senior Robert Gill in 208th (35:24.2) and freshman Joseph Palma in 230th (37:29.6).
 

 

Both teams will close out the 2005 season on Saturday, November 19th at the IC4A / ECAC Championships.
